He competed at Peterson's Gymnastics Philadelphia YMCA from 1961 to 1964 Class 3.  He was head coach/owner of Power and Grace Gymnastics in New York from 1980 to 1990.  He coached at Brown's Gymnastics from 1990 to 2001 and was head coach from 1997-2001.  Previously he worked at the Behavior Med Therapist LKEC in Philadelphia from 1972-1978 and was in the United States Marine Corps from 1968-1971.  He received the Cong. Wm. Greg's Human Rights Award in 1972.  He is also USAG Safety Certified.  He is a father to three lovely children Ian, Sarah, and Isaiah and a husband to his lovely and wonderful wife Debbie.
