Orlando Metro Gymnastics Competitive Teams includes Girls and Boys Gymnastics Teams, Tramp & Tumbling Teams, and Cheer Competitive Squads.

Girls and Boys Competitive Gymnastics Teams
The Girls and Boys Competitive Teams start with a promotion to the Developmental Teams.  Students are promoted to this level because of their work ethics, mental readiness, strength and flexibility, above average gymnastics skills, and their desire to do more in the sport of gymnastics.  Developmental classes are 1 or 2 days a week, 1½ - 2½ hours per day.  Their progressions are as follows:

Developmental 1-2 days per week
Level 2 & 3 - Girls 2-3 days per week
Level 4/5 - Boys 3-4 days per week
Level 4 - Girls 3 days per week
Level 5 & 6 - Girls 4-5 days per week
Optional - Girls 4-5 days per week
Optional - Boys 4-5 days per week

The lower level teams compete within the state and higher level teams travel within the United States with 3-4 competitions outside of Florida.  As a gymnast progresses through the levels more time is required.  Tuition ranges from $92.00 a month through $450.00 per month for Elites that represent the USA in National and International competitions.  Team requires a commitment in time and money for both the gymnast and their family.  Our gymnasts Level 9 through Elite receive scholarships for their college education.  Due to our reputation for producing excellent competitive gymnasts, most colleges track our gymnasts, both boys and girls, start their recruiting processes early to secure an Orlando Metro gymnast for their college team.

TRAMP & TUMBLING TEAMS
This team is open to boys and girls.  Requires fewer hours of training because they train on trampoline, double mini and floor exercise only and can choose to compete in one or all three of the events.
